Most lenders require onsite inspections for draw requests. TrustPoint partners with a number of inspection providers and enables seamless scheduling and digitization of the inspection report.
- Availability: During the draw request submission process, you will be prompted to provide availability guidance to aid with scheduling. Provide information such as "please come after noon any day", or "nobody is onsite on Fridays". You may also provide lockbox codes or other information an inspector may require.
- Your lender will trigger the inspection order through the system or it will be ordered immediately upon your draw submission depending on the configuration of your project.
- The inspector may contact you directly.
- The inspector will provide their report that will be added to your project in the system. You may or may not receive access to that inspection report from the lender.
Inspection service providers may offer slightly differing processes, but the outcome is the same. Insuring your project is on track and the next draw can be completed.
